It is as if Ronnie challenges anyone to make her happy as she walks down the street in her black combat boots, dressed in black attire and a sulky attitude. Cyrus’ character Ronnie initially makes an angst-infused entrance as she sits in a car with her hoodie down and a pouty look on her face because she has to spend the summer with her father Steve (Greg Kinnear) in his beautiful southern beach house.
